Hunting for the Northern Lights: Dancing lights of Lapland

Catch the most spectacular show of nature — where the sky merges with the earth in a magical dance.

What is included:

Personal guide-hunter of radiance

3 locations per tour: Frozen lakes, pine forests and the banks of rushing rivers — we are looking for the perfect angle together.

Stories about science and myths: From Sami legends to modern NASA research.

Professional photography

Your guide will make portraits with the northern Lights on the background, which will decorate your Instagram and albums.

Tips on setting up the camera if you want to shoot yourself.

Comfort in the wild

Warm campfire camp: Enjoy hot chocolate, Finnish pulla buns and grilled sausages under the stars.

Blankets and thermos flasks — so that the cold does not distract from magic.

Exclusive for small groups

Up to 5 people: No crowds, just your group and the endless sky.

Why our hunting is the best choice:

Invisible locations: We know places where light pollution is zero, and landscapes are like postcards.

– Guide = Visionary meteorologist: We monitor forecasts, clouds and geomagnetic activity in real time.

– We are not just waiting, we are creating a story: While the glow is “charging”, you will hear Sami fairy tales around the campfire.

Evening route:

It is important to know:

For photos: Take a DSLR or a smartphone with the “night shooting” mode. The guide will help you with the settings!

Equipment: Thermal underwear, earflaps and mittens are your best friends. We will provide hand warmers.

Ethics: Bonfires are lit only in permitted areas — the nature of Lapland is inviolable.

“The Northern Lights are not just a phenomenon. This is a dialogue between earth and space. And we will teach you how to hear it.”

Why it works:

Clearly explains the process (“don’t just wait in the dark”).

Adds value through the guide’s knowledge (myths + science).

Creates an image of a “warm adventure” even at -30°C.

Tip: Add to the page:

A timer for real-time aurora activity (integration with the Aurora Forecast service).

The gallery “The best shots of the season” with photos of the guests.

The “Book a place in the hunt” button with a flickering effect.

Return to Rovaniemi with  of photos and dizzying memories

Nothern Lights sightings cannotbe guaranteed as they are dependent on weather conditions and solar activity.
